I did not get crazy with extra animals in one area, i figured one location for each was good enough. Thanks for the heads up, yeah I had noticed that post in a couple other forums as well for the crabs. Don't want an 'all THEY can eat' crab buffet on your hands XD But do just keep an eye on them to make certain lol. This bug may have been fixed by now, I'm not sure, you may not have any issues with it. When they were first released there was a bug where they weren't recognised by the Rag spawners and so didn't count towards the dino population in that area, meaning that the game just kept spawning them in over and over regadless of how many were in the area already. One final thought btw - you may want to keep an eye on those crabs as your server time progresses (and all dinos from other maps too, but karkinos in particular). If all else fails, go on a solo game and add in rex spawns at a crazy high weight, then fly around the map until you see a rexsplosion, that'll show you the location you're dealing with lol Glad I could be of some assistance^^ Yeah a map like that would be a nice feature, but if you combine the name of the spawn container with the list of creatures that spawn there you can generally figure out the locations that they're talking about. ![]() But if the swamp spawns do work then it may be worth doing a quick underwater pass on VB just to see if you can spot any in that area too, it's possible that the map devs added a swamp spawn container there as well for some unknown reason. For example the river in the south by the ruined desert temple might be a location to check, as that does share some swamp spawns like kapros and diplocaulus.Īlso as I recall when I tried to use a similar code in my own games I got a few karkinos showing up in the water of Viking Bay too, however I should stress that I can't recall for certain whether this was due to the swamp code, or whether I was experimenting with other codes at the same time and one of those was responsible instead. ![]() It may be that the same swamp spawn point is used elsewhere on the map, depending if the map devs decided to use that same code in other areas. They should definitely spawn in the swamps to the west, yes, and probably in the moat of the Viking Bay castle too since that's a swamp area.
